Spring & Summer Program

Camp Kiwanis

Event Date: March 31 to April 1

Cost: $30 per Girl Scout / $25 per adult

Magic is happening at Camp Kiwanis and the fairies are calling you! Join us to learn from the wonderful fairies at Camp Kiwanis as they host Fairy Myst University! Enroll today to have a chance to become a fairy!

Fairies love to teach about making costumes, games, songs, dances, and practice skills that will help fairies be good friends to others.

All Fairy Myst University students who earn their fairy wings will become a Fairy Princess at the graduation ceremony on Saturday! All fairy students will receive a patch.

Horse Whisperer

Three Session Dates Available!

April 22 / May 6 / May 13

Time: 9-11 a.m.

Cost: $25 per Girl Scout

Join us as we learn how to care for our horse friends! This program is perfect for the beginner rider. Fun patch included.

Girl Scouts will learn:

• Basic riding skills.

• How to saddle and mount a horse properly.

• How to lead a horse and ride.

Bonus! If you attend a Horse Whisperer program and a Day Camp Horse of Course program, you will receive a horseshoe key ring in the mail. Use the horseshoe key ring as a lead rope charm or as a daily reminder of your horse memories.

Camp Kiwanis Open House

Event Date: April 14

Time: 6-8 p.m.

No registration required

Open House is a great way for you and your Girl Scout to get to know Camp Kiwanis a bit better, ask questions in person, register for camp, and most of all get excited about summer!

Take a tour of camp and have fun making a SWAP to take home.

Daisy Cadette Brownie Senior

Day Camp

Five-day camp

$300 per week or 120 cookie packages per day

Week 1 - June 12-16

Week 2 - June 19-23

Week 3 - June 26-30

Girl Scouts will experience all that Camp Kiwanis has to offer, including:

• Swimming

• Archery

• Ropes challenge course

• Horseback riding

• Arts & crafts

• Badgework

• Opening & closing ceremonies

The camp has a central building with flush toilets and air-conditioning.

With activities specifically geared for our younger Girl Scouts, a week of Day Camp is a great introduction to the outdoor camp experience for Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Girl Scouts.

Leadership opportunities are also available for older Girl Scouts.

Me and My Superhero Guy

Event Date: June 23-24

Cost: $30 per Girl Scout / $25 per adult

Bring your tent and your dad, uncle, brother, or favorite guy to Camp Kiwanis!

Let’s explore the night sky and all its wonders with your bright superstar pal. With animals of the night, watching the stars above, nature, s’mores, and swimming, you will experience lots of outdoor fun! Fun patch included.

Splash-TASTIC

Event Date: July 11

Time: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Cost: $5 per Girl Scout

Swimming, water fun, have fun with your friends, and earn a Girl Scout Badge. Bring your sack lunch and your refillable water bottle for a fun summer picnic.

Splashin’ Good Time

Event Date: July 13

Time: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Cost: $5 per Girl Scout

Me and My Gal Wizarding World

Event Date: July 14-15

Cost: $30 per Girl Scout / $25 per Adult

Hogwarts has reached out and has invited YOU and your gal (mom, aunt, or special gal) to Camp Kiwanis to experience the magic. From being crafty, potions, swimming, and more, the experience will be all the magic you will ever want to explore.

ZAP - Zombie Apocalypse Preparation

Event Date: August 25-27

Cost: $45 per Girl Scout / $25 per Adult

Would you be prepared for a ZOMBIE apocalypse?

Here is your opportunity to join an elite Zombie Apocalypse Preparation (ZAP) crew dedicated to survival—hone your marksmanship with archery challenges, develop your leadership abilities, learn outdoor living skills, and patrol Camp Kiwanis while planning escape routes and defensible spaces.
